Renewing our wedding vows in Santorini has always been a dream of ours. Surrounded by beauty and our 5 kids, we decided to go for it!
The ceremony was much simpler than the first one back in 1995 in Snowbird, Utah. My veil was handmade by Tuck out of extra bubble wrap and the aisle was made by Jones with bath towels. Wescott officiated the ceremony, Otto acted as best man and Yve was maid of honor and photographer. Carrot, Broccoli and the 3 stuffed donkeys were witnesses. After sunset, on our balcony, we conducted the ceremony with tea lights in all the wine glasses from the house.
Cliff and I wrote our own vows and agreed on haikus in an effort to minimize stress. Here they are…
Cliff’s Haiku
Quixotic partner
A family united
Yours forevermore
Lisa’s Haiku
Two hearts and one mind
Love for all eternity
Duet of rare kind
