We’d like to say how thankful we are for all of our family, friends, acquaintances – and anyone else who’s reading this – who are accompanying us on our journey across the globe. On a day like today, when we’re far from home and in a land that couldn’t be more dissimilar than the Island we inhabit, it is comforting to have all the support, love and encouragement from so many amazing people. We are beyond lucky to have all of you in our lives, and we are thankful for so much as we start our first day exploring the African continent!

As a welcoming surprise, the cook and house manager prepared a sumptuous meal of roast turkey with all the trimmings and sides; all with a unique Moroccan flare!
