Anyone looking to buy a Honda Minivan or VW Bug Convertible? :)

We own 4 cars. Seems silly with only 2 drivers but people moving is a complicated thing when you have 5 kids, 2 adults and 3 dogs. Luckily the birds and fish typically DO NOT come on road trips, although “Fighty,” Tuck’s fighting fish, has gone back and forth to Cannon Beach at least 6 times this summer 🙂

Currently we own:
1) A 2007 minivan for everyday trekking around
2) A 2002 “Megavan” which is an 11-passenger Ford Econovan that has been converted to 4-wheel drive and is used for mega road trips with 7+ people and skiing
3) A 2006 VW Beetle Convertible for everyday commuting to the city
4) A 2005 Volvo Station Wagon bought in the last six months in anticipation of a teenage driver (Wescott turned 16 3 days ago and has been taking drivers ed)

All cars were purchased from dealers pre-owned through eBay Motors. LOVE eBay motors! It is a great way to buy a car.

Anyway, as part of the pre-trip purge process we are selling the Minivan and Bug. It is bittersweet because they have both been awesome cars but it seems silly to keep 4 cars in the driveway for a year. Megavan is treated like a member of the family so we are incapable of selling it 🙂

The minivan is a 2007 Silver Honda Odyssey EXL fully loaded with navigation and built in movie system. It is a terrific car. 83,000 miles. Slide door rollers were all just replaced. Dealer trade in is $16K so if anyone wants it in the next week, let us know….otherwise we are selling to the dealer.

The VW Beetle is a 2006 Dark Grey Convertible in the now retro-styling because they recently remodeled the Beetle. Fully loaded. Standard transmission. Dealer trade in is $8.5K. 48,000 miles. It is a great little car and super fun!

In all seriousness, please let me know if you are interested. They are both great deals so I would love to sell to a friend if they are looking for a car!
